Penny Brooks was a radio and television broadcast journalist from 1992 - 2000. In 2000, she changed her life completely by transitioning her career to marketing and public relations and getting married. While she is still married to the same guy and working in marketing and public relations, she never lost her love for the news. This podcast is a passion project for her, a way to integrate her love for newsgathering into all the other parts of her current life.

Penny graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and she graduated from the University of Georgia with a Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. In addition to her work in PR/Marketing, she is a part-time communication and media professor.

Penny is a member of The Podcast Academy. She currently lives in Middle Georgia with her husband and their ever-changing roster of foster kids.
